A BRIEF INTRODUCTION
I’m a native of San Antonio, an old city graced by architectural jewels, and this beauty surely had an early influence upon me. I attended University of North Texas studying Fine Arts, and then a bit later graduated University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in architecture. My internships with commercial design firms sparked this natural progression.
I moved to Fredericksburg, Texas where I began designing homes for a local contractor. In 2003, Lone Star Living: Texas Homes and Ranches was published, featuring one of the homes I had designed which also graced the cover. This book generated professional opportunities for me on a nation-wide scale. I loved my years in Central Texas, however, the currents of life carried me on to Colorado, where I now make my home in La Veta.
Clients tell me that my art background is highly evident in my designs as I balance color, form, and proportion. Creating a home that is more than an envelope of rooms is my focus as a client’s treasured collections, passions, and delights merge artistically with a unique home design.
